A Merlot of Tuscany, it comes from a 3 hectares vineyard with west South-west exposure.
It is aged in barrels for 16 months and then in bottles for 4-5 months.
About 14° proof, it is suitable for a long ageing.
Excellent with rich meats, game and mature cheeses.
